What a year!

Wow. It is so crazy to me that this year is already almost gone - even more crazy to think about what all this year has consisted of - but I’ll save that for my end of the year sappy post! ;)

So much has happened since my last update but here’s some of the exciting updates:

  1. What If has officially been released for (almost) FIVE months! It’s insane that it’s only been five months and how much we’ve already accomplished!

  2. My debut hockey romance novel is now in NINE bookstores around the Oklahoma City area and here are the bookstores you can find me in:

    • Best of Books, Edmond

    • Second Story Books, OKC

    • Full Circle Bookstore, OKC

    • Love Stories, OKC

    • Knight’s Nook, Yukon

    • A Novel Idea Bookshop, Guthrie

    • Paper Pages Bookstore, Crescent

    • The Lore, Norman

    • Blushing Books, traveling bookstore

  3. What If has OFFICIALLY made its way out of Oklahoma and is in it’s first out of state bookstore: Bookish Boutique in Panama City, FL. It’s been a dream of mine to have my book available in a bookstore outside of my home area and it has been surreal seeing it come true.

    • Fun fact - we’re in the process of planning a signing there in March!

  4. I am currently ALMOST finished with the second book of A River Road Series - What Now - and hope for an early release in 2025.

  5. I am thankful, grateful, and blessed for all the support I’ve received throughout these last few months from friends, family and complete strangers that have encouraged me along the way. THANK YOU.

December 7th and December 8th I’ll be at the OKC Fairgrounds for the OKC Holiday Fair - there will be TONS of vendors and PLENTY of copies of my hockey romance, What If. Haven’t got your copy yet? I’ll see you there!

Much love,

M. J. Hughes
